Journalism
Journalism, one of ACP’s elective classes. Even thought I do not have much experience in journalism myself, I do know what happens. When I come inside the computer lab, I see journalism students working hard on their pages, trying to get a fresh newspaper for ACP and Al-Arqam students to sit back, read and enjoy. These newspapers have pretty exciting articles such as new teacher interviews, the Torchbearer basketball team updates, and even ads for restaurants or cell phone stores for the parents of the students. Most students don’t know how hard it is to work for journalism. I even know a few students who quit because they couldn’t handle the pressure of constantly writing articles for the newspaper. So big props to journalism students who stayed, and work hard, because our newspapers are fun and interesting to read!
